If you are new or relatively new to Lovingkindness (metta) practice, this course will provide a solid foundation for practice and investigation. If you are more experienced in Lovingkindness practice and want to deepen your understanding of metta as an insight practice, this course will provide an opportunity to investigate the insights that arise as we cultivate a heart and mind less prone to greed, hatred and delusion. In the process of practicing metta, we will naturally encounter opportunities to cultivate the other Brahma Viharas: Karuna (Compassion), Mudita (Empathetic Joy), and Upekkha (Equanimity). We will explore the insight potential of each of these as well.
