Yom Kippur: A Day of Silence and Reflection

  • New York Insight Meditation Center 28 West 27th Street, 10th Floor New York, NY 10001 (map)

Yom Kippur is the Jewish Day of Atonement, a day when, as a community, Jews are asked to reflect on their actions of the past year and to ask for atonement for any actions that were unskillful. In support of this day, NYI hosts a day of silence and reflection.

Each year we focus on a different theme, all related to the theme of atonement. This year's theme will explore Faith and Doubt - personal and cultural.  All are welcome to join us in this exploration. The day will end with a symbolic break-fast.

There is no need to pre-register.
